HID R50220318-DB OMNIKEY 5022 Smart Card Reader - Dark Blue

The HID Global OMNIKEY® 5022 is a 13.56MHz contactless, high frequency smart card reader that offers a convenient credential authentication solution for traditional/fat, thin and zero client products, including standard PCs, workstations, network and cloud applications. Ideal for use in healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial, enterprise, and government settings, the R50220318-DB reader is fast and easy to use, and provides secure authentication and converged access to physical and IT resources. Interoperable with a number of smart card technologies, tags, and NFC-enabled smart devices, the OMNIKEY® 5022 supports credentials such as as iCLASS®, Seos® one-time password (OTP), DESFire®, and MIFARE®. The reader uses native-supported CCID drivers and supports a wide range of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and Android), so there's no need to install an additional drive.

The OMNIKEY® 5022 R50220318-DB reader is dark blue in color and compact in format, making it a great two-form authentication solution for space-restricted work environments and mobile work stations. The reader economically expands the usage of existing physical access cards by facilitating computer log-on, network access, cloud access, email encryption, and more - all with a single credential. In addition, the OMNIKEY® 5022 reader is part of HID Global's ActivID® Tap™ Authentication solution, and has been integrated and tested with the ActivID Tap solution, ActivID ActivClient, ActivID Applets and HID Trusted Tag® Services. ActivID® Tap™ Authentication enhances the user experience by allowing the user to automatically generate an OTP for secure login simply by tapping his or her card to a device.
