This high-speed processing means that the cardholder doesn't need to pause at the card reader for the card to be read. NXP 1K Mifare cards can even remain in a wallet during a transaction, allowing fast processing for applications like toll booths, boarding areas, and gates. NXP 1K Mifare cards function at a distance of up to 10cm, without the need for a battery.
Mifare Classic 1K cards feature a printable gloss finish, and are Type A Standard, 13.56 MHZ, CR80 size (standard credit card size).
Available in your choice of PVC or composite PVC-PET, NXP 1K Mifare cards can be used in a variety of applications, including access control, public transportation, event ticketing, ID cards, and road tolls.
