EDIsecure DIC10179 clear laminates are specially designed for smart cards with a smart chip panel cut-out, allowing for maximum laminate coverage and protection of the card while leaving the smart chip exposed.
In order to laminate a card with the EDIsecure DIC10179 laminate, a printer with lamination capability is required. DIC10179 laminate is compatible with the ILM-DS in the upper cassette only.
To maintain the warrant of your EDIsecure printer, optimize the use of your printer, and maximize the quality of your printed cards, use only genuine EDIsecure DIC10179 overlamination ribbons.

Laminate ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year, when stored under the proper conditions. Laminates that are not store properly, and are more than one year old, will not print optimally and will likely end up costing more time in maintenance and more money in reprinting cards.
