The Technology

Retransfer printers like the RT1 first print the card design onto a transparent film, which is then fused to the card using a combination of heat and pressure. This unique printing technology produces a superior print quality that is more resistant to wear and tear. Cards printed using a retransfer printer are more durable than those printed with a standard direct-to-card printer. Not only are the cards resistant to damage, they also look great. Using edge-to-edge printing with 300dpi resolution, the RT1 leaves no white borders visible and each card displays vibrant colors.
