Magicard Prima 3 In-Line Lamination Unit

The single-sided Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit (ILU) is designed to operate in combination with the Magicard Prima 3 line of reverse transfer printers. This compact laminating solution produces outstanding results using any Magicard Prima 3 lamination material. Materials available include 0.5 mil, 0.6 mil and 1 mil patch laminates in clear, holographic or user-customized formats.

The benefit of portrait mode lamination.
Unlike other card laminators, the Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit laminates in portrait mode, allowing for impressive speeds as low as 20 seconds per card (depending on user settings).

User-programmable settings.
The Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit is also user-programmable. For example, temperature and speed settings can be adjusted via the front panel display. This unique feature allows the use of all card materials, including PVH, ABS and polycarbonate.

Opt for easy lamination for both sides of your cards.
Laminate both sides of your cards without the hassle or hazards of running your card through the procession twice with the Magicard Prima 3 Turnover Unit. Magicard's turnover unit is purchased separately from the Magicard Prima 3 in-line laminator, but they work together accomplish duplex card lamination. You can additionally use two Magicard Prima 3 in-line laminators and a turn-over unit to laminate each side of your card with varying types of laminates.

Simple setup and supplies loading.
Connection of the Magicard Prima 3 in-line laminator to a Prima 3 printer is a breeze. Just attach the unit joining plate to the printer unit, position the in-line lamination unit on the joining plate, and then plug in the communication cable. Loading the lamination rolls is also extremely user-friendly. The rolls are front-loaded, similar to all Magicard Prima 3 printers.
