Magicard Prima 3 High Output Card Printer

The reverse transfer, Magicard Prima 3 High Output card printer produces high quality, duplex (two-sided) cards in record time. Enjoy high-performance printing and encoding that enables you to control up to 7 printers via 1 PC—allowing you to create an astonishing 840 cards per hour.

Cards printed using the reverse transfer printing process feature several advantages over cards printed with standard dye sublimation printers:

• Enhanced wear protection.
• Vibrant print quality and true over-the-edge printing.
• Can print on cards with embedded electronics that exhibit bumpy surfaces (e.g., some contactless cards).
• Can print on non-PVC cards (e.g., PVH, Polycarbonate, ABS, etc.).

Ease-of-use.
The Magicard Prima 3 High Output printer features a user-friendly graphical printer driver that provides error alerts, auto ribbon detection and cleaning prompts, and ribbon status level updates. Its 'smart' LCD panel changes color based on printer status messages, prompts and troubleshooting.

The Prima 3 High Output offers convenient front access for ribbon and card supplies loading. Plus, cards can be added to the drawer while the printer is in production.

The peak of functionality.
Not only does the Prima 3 High Output offer batch printing for supreme card production output, it also provides enhanced image processing for photo quality prints, and password protection for heightened security. Choose from a variety of feature-rich magnetic stripe and smart card encoding choices. (The magnetic stripe encoding is upgradeable any time you need it!) You may also add UV features to your cards that are only visible with a special UV light. This can be accomplished with Magicard's YMCK-UV ribbon, which allows you to add a dimension of security to your credentials.

Increase your card life and combat card counterfeiting with the single-sided Magicard Prima 3 In-line Lamination Unit (ILU). This laminator can also be purchased with an optional ILU Turn-Over Unit to perform duplex (or two-sided) lamination.

Unbeatable coverage.
Magicard's UltraCoverPlus warranty provides three years of full printer coverage with a loaner printer service, plus lifetime printhead coverage. This complete warranty package is included as standard when purchasing a Magicard Prima 3 High Output card printer.
