EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit (ILU)

For use with the EDIsecure DCP 360i professional direct card printer and all of the EDIsecure XID 5xxi and 5xxie reverse transfer card printers.

The EDIsecure ILU is the latest technology to cater to the increasing demand of inline lamination needs. Printed ID cards are laminated to increase visual card security and to protect the surface of the card from physical damage.

Speed and Ease-of-Use
The EDIsecure inline lamination unit matches the output capacity of the EDIsecure XID 580i re-transfer printer. Connecting the laminator to the an EDIsecure printer is simple. Just attach the unit joining plate to the printer unit, position the ILU on the joining plate, and then plug in the communication cable!

Lamination roll loading is also user-friendly. The rolls are loaded through a loading system, similar to the EDIsecure re-transfer printers.

The EDIsecure inline lamination unit delivers premium lamination results in all possible options - from using thin holographic film or patches in various thicknesses.

The EDIsecure inline lamination unit is also user-programmable. Temperature and speed settings can be adjusted via the front panel display. This unique feature allows the use of all card materials, including PVC, PVH, ABS, 100% PET and even Polycarbonate.

Opt for easy lamination for both sides of your cards.
Laminate both sides of your cards without the hassle or hazards of running your card through the procession twice with the EDIsecure Turn-Over Unit. The EDIsecure turn-over unit is purchased separately from the EDIsecure ILU, but they work together accomplish duplex card lamination. You can additionally use two EDIsecure inline lamination units and a turn-over unit to laminate each side of your card with varying types of laminates.
