Fargo C30e Printer - Duplex Description

The Fargo duplex C30e printer gives you excellent performance and reliability at a much higher level than its price suggests. The Fargo duplex C30e printer is designed to make your card issuance application as simple as possible with Microsoft® Windows® drivers and easy-to-load supplies.

The new Fargo 54402 printer is equipped with built-in versatility and can be configured to adapt to your future needs. Plus, it is already set up to perform two-sided printing, allowing you to take advantage of the real estate on both sides of your cards.

Note: The Fargo duplex C30e printer (Fargo 54402) is the newly-enhanced version of the Fargo duplex C30 printer. The Fargo 54402 is a direct replacement of Fargo 44402, as well as its multiple configurations.

Fargo 54402 Features

Excellent results on a variety of card materials.
The new generation Fargo duplex C30e printer features color printing enhancements that produce sharp text, and images that look truly photographic. With the Fargo duplex C30e printer, you'll get the same excellent results on a range of card materials and thicknesses:

• Thin cards. These are becoming more popular in membership and loyalty programs, transit systems and health care facilities. Thin plastic cards are flexible and lightweight, and therefore easy to mail, slip into a wallet or attach to a patient's medical chart.
• Rewritable cards. The Fargo duplex C30e printer can help you cut down on throwing out cards that are used only on a short-term basis. Special heat-sensitive cards are erased and printed using the printhead heating element. No ribbon is necessary for rewritable card printing—the cartridge is actually removed so that rewritable cards have direct heating access to the printhead. Use these cards again and again—up to 200 erase cycles!
• Technology cards. Smart cards, proximity or magnetic stripe cards can be used for access control, debit transactions or other applications in addition to photo ID.
• Fargo holographic foil cards. Add a level of protection to your cards by using Fargo security cards. These cards offer a cost-effective solution to adding visual security elements to your ID cards—without the need for lamination equipment.

Quick and painless supplies loading and maintenance.
The Fargo duplex C30e printer uses the easy-loading SmartLoad ribbon cartridge that saves time and eliminates the aggravation and expense of torn, wasted ribbons by installing in one easy step. No threading. No fumbling. No mess! Fargo's SmartClean card cleaning roller is integrated into every Fargo 54402 printer ribbon cartridge, so there’s no need to deal with a separate card cleaning mechanism

Configure your printer just the way you need it.
The Fargo duplex C30e printer can be ordered ready for Ethernet so that you can share your card personalization application over your network. You may also opt for magnetic stripe or smart card encoding to create multi-functional cards.
