The P5000E is Polaroid's most advanced ID card printer offering, designed to help you issue the secure cards that you need.

Provides several advanced features as standard.
The Polaroid P5000E ID card printer is equipped with standard single-sided or duplex printing and lamination, an intuitive LCD panel that displays printer status and prompts, and bi-directional USB and Ethernet connectivity.

Multiple dimensions of intense defense.
The Polaroid P5000E ID card printer allows you to benefit from increased card security through its lamination capability. Lamination provides defense against data misuse by applying a clear or holographic patch. A holographic patch particularly discourages card counterfeiting because it is difficult to replicate. Lamination additionally presents a dimension of durability to your cards—therefore contributing to a longer card life. You can also add a second laminator to provide increased efficiency to your production process.

The Polaroid P5000E printer optionally provides the ability protect itself and its materials. With its hardware lock suite, you can protect your supplies and rejected cards from unauthorized access. It also features support for a Kensington lock system that will anchor your printer to its workstation.

Uniquely versatile.
Add one or several encoding options to your cards. The Polaroid P5000E ID card printer supports the most advanced encoding technologies, including solutions for magnetic striping and smart card personalization. These technologies can additionally be added in the future—as your card application evolves.
