Clear & Holographic Overlaminates for Current & Legacy Fargo Printers/Laminators Fargo laminate patches are typically used to add durability to high-usage cards and/or to add visual security. To add durability and help extend the life of your issued cards, clear Fargo laminates are the perfect solution. A clear overlaminate patch can help reduce swipe abrasion, gradual dye migration (bleeding) and reduce color fading from UV light. When you want to add durability AND increase the visual security of your cards, choose a holographic Fargo laminate. Holographic patches provide defense against data misuse and discourage fraudulent card replication because unique holographic patterns are difficult to duplicate. These clear and holographic overlaminates can be used with many legacy Fargo card printer/laminator models, such as: DTC515-LC, DTC525-LC, HDP820-LC, HDP825-LC, Pro-L, Pro-LX, Cheetah II and Persona II. Special rolls for magnetic stripe and smart cards are also offered.
