The Fargo DTC400e (54100) card printer has been discontinued, and has been replaced by the next generation Fargo DTC4000 card printer.

Simple to operate and virtually maintenance-free, the Fargo 54100 DTC400e single-sided ID card printer features a modular design that scales easily as your future card personalization needs expand. 

• Operate and maintain your printer with ease
  The Fargo DTC400e single-sided card printer offers easy-to-use features and hassle-free supplies that even the non-technical user can appreciate. An LCD control panel lets you know the status of your printing process with easy-to-follow message prompts and commands, while an all-in-one cartridge combines the ribbon and cleaning roller into a single, convenient assembly. The Fargo DTC400e single-sided printer will even alert you if you haven't loaded the ribbon properly.

• Print on a variety of materials
  Print superb results on a variety of card types and materials. The DTC400e single-sided printer features color printing enhancements that produce true-to-life photos, and sharp text and images. Plus, you can enjoy these great results on a wide range of card materials, including thin cards, rewritable cards, holographic foil cards, and technology cards.

• Access additional features through the Fargo Workbench
  The DTC400e 54100 printer features the exclusive Fargo Workbench printer utility, a printer security, diagnostics, and firmware upgrades tool. This allows you to:

• Add password-controlled access
• Use a library of card samples
• Gain access to key printer and ribbon information (e.g., printer serial number, listing of installed options, ribbon type, ribbon amount used, etc.)
• Run various troubleshooting and diagnostics tools and more!

• Dual-sided printing- Optional
  Double the printable area of your cards with a dual-sided printer! The Fargo 54100 is available in a duplex (two-sided) printing version. View the Fargo DTC400e Duplex ID Card Printer.

• Ethernet connectivity - Optional
  Create a remote printer sharing environment for many users on a network with optional Ethernet connectivity. (Add this feature to your printer within the Options tab.)

• Card encoding- Optional
  The Fargo 54100 also features several encoding options enabling magnetic stripe, contact or contactless smart cards, and proximity cards. (Add this feature to your printer within the Options tab.)

• Extended warranty and printer loaner plans- Optional
