Magicard Rio Pro Duo Dual-Sided ID Card Printer Details

Built for professionals, the Magicard Rio Pro Duo dual-sided printer is loaded with features. It can easily be upgraded to dual-sided printing in the field. The Magicard Rio Pro Duo dual-sided card printer has a built-in USB and Ethernet with Windows 7, XP, and Vista (32/64 bit) compatibility. Plus, Magicard protects you with an industry-leading three-year UltraCoverPlus warranty and support that includes full printhead coverage and free loaner service to ensure that your card printing program is always operational.

• Operate and maintain your printer with ease
  The Magicard Rio Pro Duo dual-sided card printer has a clear 4-line display that provides instructions and status messages. The Rio Pro Duo dual-sided printer can print large batches of cards via the 100-card capacity input hopper and 70-card stacker. It can also create one-off cards with an easy-to-use hand-feed slot.


• Create secure ID badges with built-in HoloKote
  The Magicard Rio Pro Duo printer includes built-in card security with Magicard's exclusive HoloKote card watermarking feature. Unlike expensive holographic laminates, there is no additional cost to add Magicard HoloKote watermarking to your cards. Instead, the HoloKote feature allows you to print a watermark using the O panel of a standard color ribbon. Plus, enabling HoloKote right in the printer driver makes the choice of adding a watermark to your cards easy!
  
  There are four HoloKote designs to choose from with the Rio Pro Duo, including globes, interlocking squares, keys and waves. You'll also have the choice of printing your watermark repeatedly across your cards, or use the HoloKote FLEX option to select a single location.
  
  When higher security is needed, you can print custom text or graphics using the HoloKote Custom Key or HoloKote Custom FLEX Key. Learn more about Magicard's HoloKote technology and see a sample of how your watermark will look on you card with the Custom HoloKote Tool.
  
  Using HoloKote along with Magicard HoloPatch cards, which include a gold 'foil' patch, turns one area of the watermark into a highly-visible security seal that is similar in appearance to an expensive holographic patch, without the expense.


• Erase and reprint cards economically
  The Magicard Rio Pro Duo allows you to print standard dye-sublimation and thermal resin cards and also features the capability to print rewritable cards. This rewrite printing capability allows you to economically print, erase and reprint cards hundreds of times using thermal rewritable card stock. Plus, no ribbon is needed for rewrite printing!

Customize your printer to your needs with:

• Card encoding - Optional
  Use your cards for more than just a photo ID! The Rio Pro Duo can be ordered with magnetic stripe encoding capabilities and smart card personalization. (Add this feature to your printer within Options)


• Extended warranty and printer loaner plans - Optional
  ID Zone offers extended warranty plans with satisfaction-guaranteed service handled by our in-house, knowledgeable technical support team. Our extended warranty plans include support via a toll-free number or live chat, total parts replacement plus labor, and fast turn-around on printer repairs. In the event your printer needs to be sent to us for repair, our loaner plans help ensure your card printing can continue. With printer loaner coverage, we'll send you a loaner printer to use while yours is in for repair. (Select an extended warranty with or without loaner coverage in Options)

  A training session with our in-house Technical Support team will get your new Magicard Rio Pro Duo card printer up and running in no time.
